He was with God in the

beginning.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was

made that has been made.” The scriptures explain the three distinct

personalities working together as One to lead us to all truth. As stated by

Dr Henderson,” The vast majority of Christians believe in this concept of

the Trinity and that what is forever true must come from God with the

understanding that God was there in the beginning and was revealed to us

through Jesus Christ and leads us to the knowledge of who He is through

the Holy Spirit.” Because these three persons are one God we can’t have

one without the other they are united, the can’t pit them against each other

and you can’t balance them because they are united. (Allberry,2012) As

disciples we are baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of

the Holy Spirit and in following Jesus we become involved in the Trinity.

God has a redemptive plan for mankind and that is to reconcile man back to

Him. For those that belong to Him, He reveals His truth through creation,

conscience and Scripture. God is the source of objective truth about

Himself and scripture teaches that objective truth exists is knowable and

absolute in nature (Groothuis, 2000). The truth that the Trinity reveals is

that God is love, beautiful and good.
