Project Status Report

 Accomplished goal for the week

o The goal for this week is to work on implementation and testing. This is a critical

aspect of the project so having a precise plan in place will make sure our project

doesn’t fall into the trap of most IT projects that fail.

 Completed goal for the week

o To complete this goal, I had meetings with our Cloud vendors and department

managers. With the cloud vendors, we made sure all aspect of the

implementation are covered. From IP address scheme to application switch over,

database change over, programming on the Firewall and on. With the department

managers, we covered timeline and the need for users in each department to be

available for testing purposes.

 Issues or Concerns

o My concerns here are from the 3

party company we are working with. With no

control over their input, it is difficult to expect a specific timeline to be followed.

One way to lower that concern is I set weekly progress report meetings with the

desired outcome for each week.
